WHERE AM I
I am based in Norwich, Norfolk and although I do family history for people who's ancestors are all over the world the United Kingdom is my speciality.
WHAT I DO
Research starts from the information you give me to get started, from there I expand the tree finding each persons family where they lived and what they did for a living. Along the way finding out more information including military records and where they were born and died. Norfolk and Suffolk trees can include graveyard information.
Scottish records include an extra charge, as although they are very informative they are costly.
WHY CHOOSE PURPLE TREES?
Ancestry records can be bewildering and hard to understand. Many historical records are hard to transcribe or have been transcribed incorrectly, mainly because of the ability of writing skills of the people making the records in those times.
The cost of some of the sites is very expensive and it can take you weeks and even months to get to your basic tree, as I found out myself at the start of my research.
Due to my experience I am able to anticipate the potential pitfalls in the records and identify mistakes which would be commonly missed. I always check all of my information to ensure its accuracy.
